Rice is a main staple for many in Outer Trinity. The grain is grown inside the wall and sold to Outer Trinity citizens through a network of friendly dealers. Prices vary week-to-week based on the harvest yield, inter-House politics, and supply. One 1/2lb bag during harvest in October might cost TRI$1,500, and by July easily double that. It’s common practice to buy in bulk and hoard through the lulls in harvests, provided of course it can be protected from would-be pilferers.
