The Original Dustbowl Cyberpunk Series
Constance finally has the leverage she needs to protect the Foundation.
How. Embarrassing.
Constance and Everett have returned to the trapped LEOs with reinforcements and a few things on their mind.
Because the Foundation under Constance’s leadership doesn’t follow the established High House hierarchy, its members have been largely excluded from the Halo Security Forces. This hasn’t stopped the Foundation from protecting its own interests, and the various Houses of the Foundation have pooled their resources to create their own shared security force. While not well equipped, this force is fairly well respected in the parts of the Halo the HSF would rather just ignore.
Back at the locked down Halo Security Forces viewing hall, the LEO’s are getting restless.
Yay! Ritch is awake!
There’s just one Lancet drone left, but it’s got a nasty surprise up it’s sleeve for the new crew of the Dagger!
As a last ditch method of intercepting a distant target, some Lancet drones are equipped with a JOUST module, which diverts engine power to a single-shot railgun. Deep research has gone into where the name came from, where and when the technology was introduced, and what exactly JOUST stands for, but the answers seem to be lost to the sands of time.
Markesha and Orson are safely aboard the Dagger. Meanwhile, Logan is a little Upsetty Spaghetti.
Nothing beats the feeling of making a tight connection to your flight back home!

Biiig bada-boom!
Markesha’s laser focused on what seems to be a fatal exit, and Orson is losing his cool.
Link’s Wall Bug made it just in time, but now what?
