Burning trash is a reliable, albeit noxious, method of garbage management in Outer Trinity.  Whatever can’t be salvaged for some other purpose inevitably stacks up to the point that someone takes a torch to the pile.  It’s not uncommon in the colder months for residents to brave the wind and potential brain/lung damage to huddle around the warming glow of formerly vile refuse.
